CARING SISTERS NETWORK STATIONERY DRIVE 2020

It is no state secret that our socio economic climate does not allow for the equality of all children.

Many are brought up by parents who struggle to make ends meet, single parents and sometimes their grandparents who survive on the use of their monthly governmental grants.

That being said, many are sent to school without the basic tools to make learning enjoyable and productive.

The Stationery Drive 2020, initiated by the Caring Sisters Network aims to simply assist these learners with a kick start to their 2020 school year, so that they are able to be enthusiastic about going back to school and motivated to learn.

We have put together a stationery pack, consisting of the following below for the value of R100.

Each Stationery pack consists of:

1. A4 Exercise book – 72pg (5)

The opportunity presented affords the Durban community to come together with their children and assist, endearing the spirit of giving and helping. It helps bonding and learning to work with others towards a common objective.

The atmosphere was exhilarating and the response was heart-warming as many came out to assist us in completing our goal.
