CARING SISTERS NETWORK FLASH DRIVE FOR MOZAMBIQUE
In early March, heavy rains inundated Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, causing deadly floods.
The storm soon developed into Tropical Cyclone Idai, which has affected an estimated 1.8 million people in Mozambique alone, leaving many injured, misplaced and even dead.
The Caring Sisters Network together with Brothers of Humanity facilitated a one day only flash drive for the urgent need of hygiene packs as well as shelter kits.
A hygiene pack consisted of:
- Bath soap
- Sanitary pads
- Mosquito repellent.
A shelter kit consisted of:
- Corrugated iron sheets
- Pine timber
- Roof nails
Alhumdulliah, the flash drive was an absolute success and funds were allocated in respect to the above.
