CSN READERS ARE LEADERS 2018 – SYDENHAM PRIMARY
In Celebration of National Book Week which is held from the 3-9 of September, The Caring Sisters Network launched its 5th Annual Readers Are Leaders Campaign.
The Aim of the Campaign is to encourage and promote a reading culture, as reading and literacy are at the heart of personal growth, community development and a thriving nation.
The Caring Sisters Network identified the need of a library at Sydenham Primary, and took the initiative in providing its learners with a complete library, consisting of book shelves as well storybooks and educational literature this morning. The learners were overjoyed with excitement and began reading their books immediately!
The Caring Sisters Network looks forward too providing many more under resourced schools with educational literature and we encouraged the public to join in our educational book drive and be apart of this empowering initiative!
